How Do You Defend A Choke?

You know, that submission that attacks your neck. And then you pass out if you don't tap... chokes block air to the lungs, strangles block blood to the brain.

Ok, here are some advice to prevent you from passing out by any chokes:

  1. Always try to relax and make your neck long. You should always wait for them to get it nice and deep before you start to defend it.
  2. Try to get the molars to line up and tuck your tongue in(imagine the way a turtle hides it's head). Your tongue is pushing on the bottom teeth outward and this for some reason gives you breathing/damage room to finally escape. When you escape.. it's slow so, don't burn any real energy and don't make a choke tighter.
