This is important, to do something that groove / revel / enjoy what you do and do what makes you happy. Grappling isn’t an easy one to train, and there are many different things that you can enter into training to improve skills more quickly and develop to a higher level, if you can not enjoy doing all it can and does not learn to enjoy it, then you will not be better, too.
But, my terrified of speaking to groups, we should not like Marcelo, Jacare, or Roger. Moreover, not all Gracie families can be such as Roger, and they have the opportunity and begin practice at a very young age.
Some people like to formulate strategies and the game plans and train to put them into action (this is my favorite part). Some people like the roll of many, some people love Drilling, some people love the unique and exotic techniques, some people like the basic techniques. Some people only want to be on the mats and do not reflect all. That's all good!
The most important is that we all walk out of the mat better than at the time we go to mat. After that, it is important that we get what we want before the exit from the mat.
A goal, we can actually mean; that there is potential for us to enjoy each of the steps needed to make our goals achieved.
My views for the best results, you must set goals and use logic and reason, experimentation and evaluation to achieve those goals.
Have Fun!
