When you exercise, your brain releases chemicals called endorphins that produce a feeling of euphoria - the so-called "Runner's high" that people can become chemically dependent.
Without it, you feel irritable and out of sorts until you exercise again. So you go to the exercise, never stop to listen to what your body is saying. And what's said, "Stop".
The reason for this exercise to keep pushing addicts themselves probably lies in what happens when they do not work. Psychologists at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, has studied the psychological consequences of not being able to practise. They compared 30 men and women runners who had been ruined by minor injuries for at least two weeks with a similar group who continued to run. Those who can not run more showed signs of depression, anxiety and confusion, and they were far less happy with themselves and their bodies. Like other addictions, exercise, they say, seems to have withdrawal symptoms.
The aches and pains
More indulgence does not hurt that spirit, but also the body. Initially, the exercise will do what it is supposed to give you a good body, but once you cross the line, it can be lethal. Muscle damage, arthritis, heart problems, they are all waiting to make an appearance.
The body has its limits and if you push beyond this limit, you harm.
Obsessive exercise tends to occur among new exercisers, people who have just started working. So are they willing to get in shape that exceed the limits.
The first signs of exercise can not be exhaustion, but that leads to an accumulation of fatigue. This can be done "irreparable harm to the body."
It is not only the muscles that are at risk and bones. Some "leisure" athletes push themselves to develop injuries such as shin splints or tension, and then refuse to rest, causing greater and perhaps permanent damage.
Even a morning walk is not without risk. Too much walking can lead to osteoarthritis. When you walk, you work against gravity. Thus, over the course of your muscles, you are harming your knee. A large number of patients who walk up to an hour every day to come complaints of pain in the knee. In fact, jogging and more harm to its knees. Too many sit-ups may also hurt. More than 10 per day can weaken the spine. Moderation, as usual, is key.
You should begin gradually, and combine different types of meetings, which obsessive exercisers forget. A complicating factor with people who are connected to the exercise is that they tend to perform the same exercises day after day, which would increase the chances of permanent damage.
Thinking Right
Never work to the point where you feel completely exhausted at the end of it. About 45 minutes and an hour, four to five days a week should be your limit. Your training must leave you feeling fresh and energetic. And to make it a pint to take a day's break every week. This is important because your body needs to relax and rejuvenate.
The key to achieving this goal lies in your attitude. The exercise is the path to a healthy lifestyle. So, if you do please only when you are on balance, you defeat the purpose of the exercise. Collection of health must be the priority. So stop fighting with your own body and you'll be a happy person
