A Little of My Mindset

I have to submit this one for all of you guys... but before that I apologize if my words are not good enough ... :-)

First, as is known some people, both during practice in the dojo or day-to-day activities. With the results of the ISC in 2008, where I became a finalist 55-65 kg class. In fact I only target, at least, better than the tournament that I follow in the city of Yogyakarta before (winning only 1 time). But even getting the results that are far beyond my previous estimates.

Ok... tell me start from the beginning ... before H-day tournament, which is when the practice in the dojo. At the dojo I prefer to train students in comparison to train themselves, but in fact this is precisely the skill to make me better as well as students in the dojo is also growing. In the session "free roll" I was more "tap out" as it tends to be more lazy when it is physical fatigue hehehe ... (it is not young anymore)
But exactly that, a lot of evaluation, evaluation / spelled breakthrough that can be obtained such as:

* Why do I get the submissions?
* What movement that save in the defense?
* What position is a more comfortable & saves?
* What gameplan that better for the offense?
* .. Etc

All thoughts are of course must be balanced with the physical condition (fresh or fatigue).

Second, the next is when outside the dojo. Honest ... I did not have nearly the same training exercises once both physical / or endurance training techniques. Because once busy with my job that even in the process requires that I was not sleeping at all. So outside the dojo is just rest it... hahaha ... I think in-thought, I am grateful to the condition of my body is still healthy.

Third, when the H-day tournament ISC 2008. Before you read further, the night before I sleep only about 4-5 hours. But I just think only 2 things: "Come & Enjoy"

yup ... Come and enjoy the match, whoever my opponent is the same, all bound champion, and has been trained to prepare in this tournament. If there are people who ask me: Are you nervous? OF COURSE! I feel that time was nervous and too excited..! What will happen in the ISC this time?

But all is not comparable with the lessons learned after the tournament. So I dare to guarantee every person who has participated in this tournament will have a more rapid progress than the people who had never compete in this tournament.
Finally, what I wanted to say here. That all who want to achieve the target, either in the tournament, or not in the tournament, you will be easier to achieve it if you enjoy the process. When you can enjoy it, automatically you definitely like it ... ...

I have a question that must be answered by your heart...

"Do you like Grappling / Jiu-Jitsu?"
“If you do… Enjoy it each time you do it."
